SRG was founded in early 2024. As the world of finance and compliance becomes increasingly complex and time-consuming, we started to see areas where ‘the experience’ was being neglected. SRG was formed on the basis that ‘we don’t want to just focus on the transaction itself.’ It’s about ensuring our customers know that when they have an idea and they’re unsure how to make it work, they have someone they can call for guidance. We provide a high-end level of customer service, offering carefully considered and well-thought-out lending advice and strategy.
We want to be much more than who has the lowest rate and just getting the deal done.

Led by our co-founders, Steven and Gemma Flint, our diverse team of seasoned professionals brings together a wealth of expertise across various facets of the financial landscape.

Co-founder - Senior BrokerSteve is a Co-Founder of SRG. He entered the finance industry at the ripe age of 23, previously working in Real Estate for 5 years. With over 11 years of experience in the industry, Steve has established himself as one of the more experienced Finance Brokers in his area. Steve has assisted a wide range of clients, from first home buyers to seasoned property investors, professionals, and business clients. He particularly enjoys working with clients who have complex and technical profiles that may otherwise struggle to obtain funding from other lenders or advisors.
His philosophy centers around building long-term relationships with his clients while also providing a high-end level of service, ensuring no stone is left unturned. With firsthand experience in personally purchasing property, Steve and his wife Gem have ventured into the construction path, purchasing and fully renovating a 100-year-old house, investing in properties, and dabbling in property development. Steve leverages these experiences to provide his clients with more in-depth knowledge than most others.
Steve holds a Diploma in Finance Mortgage Brokering and also a Diploma in Property Services (Real Estate).

Co-founderGemma is the co-founder with her husband Steve and plays a pivotal role in the running of SRG. With over 15 years of administrative experience, it was a natural progression to collaborate and create SRG. From taking care of HR, brand and image direction, administration management, and back-end support, Gemma has the ability to leave a lasting impression.
Her heart of pure gold, coupled with an eagerness to help and support, ensures that the service offered at SRG is second to none. Her impeccable eye for detail and drive for customer satisfaction further enhance the quality of service provided.
SRG Culture.
Hence, the name and what it stands for—Steven, Rowie (our daughter), and Gemma. Family was important to us and was the driving force behind what we valued most. Being the transactional type of broker who only wants to do the deal and never hear from your advisor again didn’t sit well with us. We didn’t want to be a business whose sole focus is profit margins and neglects our staff with their personal goals and careers.
Having genuine care for our staff and customers—treating them as part of our family—was the blueprint for how we wanted to conduct ourselves in business. We want people to feel inspired when dealing with us. We want them to know they have someone in their corner from day one and are here for the long haul, right beside them every step of the way. So, when a client or staff member becomes a part of SRG, you become family—and we look after our family.
